Tara Nina's News
Hello to everyone, especially the Cursed MacKinnons Fans! I'm sorry I haven't been more active with this newsletter. Life has gotten in the way. I promise to try harder to keep in touch. According to my files, the last time I sent a newsletter was 1 year ago. There's been so much that's happened. The Cursed MacKinnons series has another release coming titled: Cursed and Crazy. For all you fans who've been so patiently waiting for Aiden's story, it's in the hands of my editor at Ellora's Cave Publishing.
I got extremely lucky to be included with several wonderfully talented authors in an anthology titled: Alien. The book I placed in this anthology is titled: Escape. I'm hoping it will be the first of more Sci-Fi novels about these terrific Paoni Warriors, Shia and Kal.
Wishing Everyone a Fabulous Day!

Attention Cursed MacKinnons Fans
Coming Soon Book 6
Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place...
Stone by day, man by night, it's a curse that takes a little
bit of crazy and a whole lot of love to conquer.
I'm sharing a recipe that I hope everyone will enjoy. It's my
daughter's favorite cookies and since there's a chill in the air, it's becoming
baking season at my house.
KC's Chocolate Thumbprints
Dough~ 1/2 cup of butter, 2/3 cup of sugar, 1 egg separated, 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 cup of self-rising flour, 1/3 cup of baking cocoa, 1 cup of chopped walnuts
Creamy Center~ 1/2 cup of confectioners sugar, 1 tablespoon of softened butter, 2 teaspoons of milk, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 bag of chocolate Kisses (unwrapped).
Dough~ Mix butter, sugar, egg yolk, milk & vanilla until creamy. Gradually add cocoa and flour to the mixture. Blend into a stiff batter. Cover bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Remove from fridge. Roll into balls. Place chopped walnuts on a paper plate.
Creamy Center~ Combine confectioners sugar, butter, milk & vanilla, & stir until smooth.
Whip egg white with a fork in a small bowl. Roll chocolate balls in the egg white, then roll them in the chopped walnuts, coating them well. Place on cookie sheets, press thumb in center, fill with creamy mixture, drop a kiss in the center.
